The event was at capacity for tailgates and the décor, food and presentation were more elaborate and festive than ever. This year, Tailgate Contest sponsor, M. It was only fitting that Gay Polo League president and founder Chip McKenney lead Gamma Mu to a thrilling come-from-behind 6-5 victory over Polo Gear/Palm Beach Rox in the championship final. With three seconds remaining, Gamma Mu team captain Juan Bollini took a short pass from Jack Hoffman and tapped in the winning goal. "When I first came out here, I fell off my horse," Tran said with a smile, shaking his head. "It was the first year of the tournament and it was on the qualifying day. My horse reared up and I fell off. The horse rolled over my leg but luckily I didn't break anything." Wellington, FL - Talbot Logan shook off pre-game jitters to play the game of his life Saturday at the third annual International Gay Polo Tournament at Grand Champions Polo Club.
