Gay Polo Kicks Off in Argentina

The first international Gay Polo League (GPL) tournament kicked off today at El Remanso Polo Club in Pilar, Argentina. Three teams, made up of polo professionals and LGBT players, are competing in GPL Argentina, which is played out in a round-robin format. The Gay Polo League (GPL) is pleased to announce the GPL Polo Club has been granted nonprofit status as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service tax code. The nonprofit designation means donations and gifts to GPL are fully tax-deductible and the organization is eligible to apply for government and foundation grants. Phelps Media Group Rides Off With Senators Cup in 7th Annual International Gay Polo Tournament

Phelps Media Group (PMG) won the 2016 Senators Cup, defeating RSM 4-3 in the April 2 finals of the 7th Annual International Gay Polo Tournament. In the Founders Cup, Cedar Crest Stable took a 5-4 victory over Seminole Casino. Presented by Discover the Palm Beaches & Palm Beach County Sports Commission, the tournament was part of the 7th Annual Gay Polo Week, which was hosted March 31-April 3 for the second consecutive year at the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC).
